Hello!

Yup, we are still alive and kicking. It has just been way too hot to do any projects. But we did find a great small company to work on some tree clean up. They actually scheduled to come today. And I said are you sure since with the heat index it’s going to get up to 108 today? Yup, we are used to the heat. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I thought this was a cute picture. What you are looking at is a chicken standing on the porch and she shook her body and all of the dirt came out of her feathers from taking a dirt bath. I love that you can see her one footprint.

So the pictures that you’re looking at now are before. The project consisted of cutting down five trees near the house and grinding the stumps. I had three trees near the pond that needed to be cut down because they were dead. And I wanted them to trim all of the trees in front of my pond from the bottom up. I wanted to be able to see my pond through the trees. Plus, they brought that big grinder to clear up all the seedlings and other small trees that were in the way.

And now the process and finished look. I know I did not do the best with before and same picture after the cutting. But I think you are all smart enough to follow along.
