What a beautiful fall morning! The kittens sure love being outside now.
Yesterday was a fun day. Mark got lots of man talk in yesterday. We are starting to work on an area where we are going to put up a larger metal building that will hold our vehicles and a tractor once we find one. 😂
We knew we had something living in our shop. So Mark set a trap Thursday night. He actually shot at it a couple times as he saw him in the dark but was not successful. We thought for sure we would not see it for a few days. Mark got up the next morning and looked in the trap and here it is. Mark did not shoot him, but drove a couple miles away from our property and released him. 
Then the utility company came out to our house yesterday and we moved our meter by a couple feet.
Today Mark is using the wheelbarrow to load up some of that fresh dirt to put in the low spots in the grass around the house. Me, I am doing chicken chores and fixing a few things in my coop.
Chickens love my one flowerbed. 🤦🏼♀️

Love your progress! too bad you moved your hobo away – they are great at catching bad things like mice & snakes that could hurt your chickens. We left ours alone. Turned out she was a female and just needed a safe place to have her babies. Once they were about the size of my palm, she took them and left. Have not seen her since but she did keep the mice out of our chicken coup. Oh, and they love the corn feed too – hee hee. Hope you guys are having fun! Miss you!
