Chickens are happy

It was a big day for my flock. I moved them to their new temporary home until my coop arrives. They love the extra space, flirting around and digging through the straw.

Is she just not the cutest!

Step one

Straw is down

Step 2

They are inside

Step 3

Fence and netting complete

This is their first time on grass. Of course the guineas had to stay in the shop in their tent.

Of course I had to do a little photoshoot of my babies.

It’s so fun to sit outside with them and watch them play.

The temperature are nice today but super humid with no breeze. πŸ˜… It was a good day.❀️

You are such chicken lovers! Helpful hint: don’t know how hot you are going to get there (we hit 105 today – YUCK!), but you may want to add a fan to the inside of your chicken house. We hung one up facing down and rotating to keep the birds air flowing. It helps them a ton when it gets really hot out. Your newbies look FANTASTIC!!! Thank you for the great share.
