Poor Daisy. She has been locked in the house for the last full week and won’t be going outside soon. Even though she is on tick medicine, the areas that she likes to hunt must be full of them. About six weeks ago, one side of her neck she lost all of her fur because she wouldn’t quit itching and digging. Well, we got that healed and now it’s the other side so right now she’s just gonna be an indoor cat. Is this picture not the cutest of her looking outside wishing she could be out there.🧐
Yesterday I worked on rebuilding my canopy in my chicken run. Not sure how long it will last since the turkeys love to get on top of it!
Last night we cooked a new recipe that Mark found on TikTok. It’s a cored out onion with a seasoned meatball in it. Then you wrap it with bacon and smother with BBQ sauce. It was pretty good.
Today we are going to a St. Patrick’s Church community fair. I guess it is very popular within Tennessee for people to come here for the celebration. Yesterday they had barbecued chicken and today is barbecued pork. I guess they sell out by midday. I heard all the money that is raised with the meat is used for scholarships for kids to go to the Catholic school. I will take pictures today and let you know how fun it was. 🤠
