Well, it was a successful move last night for the chickens.
I should’ve taken a picture after I moved them all over to the chicken coop last night. I put them all on the roosting bar. They looked so darn cute. I was just too darn hot. I was ready to get in and take a nice cold shower.
Here they are this morning.
And here they are coming out this morning.
They have figured out their new feed buckets. Now I need to work on some shade ideas for them in the morning. They will have plenty of shade from 1:00 on. I plan on keeping them in the run for a few weeks before I’m going to let them free range.
And my new design in the coop, the shit shelf worked well. Tomorrow I will get some sand for it so it’s easy clean up.
