Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. We have been blessed with mostly sun and a few rain showers here and there.

We found this cute cart in our shed. So we brought it out and put it in our little circle area of our driveway. οΏΌ

Mark got bit by a tick mid last week. He really got sick. So we took him to the urgent care center on Thursday and they did bloodwork and put him on doxycycline. We hope to hear Monday or Tuesday the results of the bloodwork. We think Mark is getting them from when he is working on the ponds and trying to trap the beaver. He also was mowing some high grass which hosts ticks as well. We have come up with some new methods to hopefully mitigate this going forward.οΏΌ But he is feeling better each day.
We really have not done much around the property. I got the spare bedroom completed so when our family visits this month, they have a nice comfy bed to sleep in. Mark just needs to finish up a few things in the bathroom and will be set! οΏΌ

Life here in Tennessee is much different than living on the island. I never did see a tick, but we did have fleas. Since our property was logged, we rarely saw a mosquito. On a very rare occasion, we might see a baby snake. In Tennessee, of course we have lots of ticks that I have experienced and now Mark. We have lots of mosquitoes early morning and late evening, which they really love me. Mark has seen a snake by our pond and of course killed one up by our front porch. And yesterday I believe a snake was in our shop and actually killed one of my baby chicks. Of course it tried to swallow it whole but only got about halfway and had to regurgitate it. So starting last night, I am shoving all my babies back into the tent and zipping it up so that they are protected at night. Life on the farm. π
I did do a little photo shoot this morning of some of my birds theyβre getting so big.

Love my babies β€οΈ
