We have been blessed with beautiful weather the last few days. It has been a little warmer and of course some humidity. But it looks like our temps will go back down to the low 70s.
We did finish the little area for Daisy. We are trying to give her a safe spot to go to when we have company or when our kids bring their dogs. She had a cat door at the Yurt and used it all the time. This one is pretty much the same thing, but we’re still struggling getting her to go in and out of it 
The power company came out a few days ago and came on our property because we have powerlines that does not service just our house. We were hoping to get the powerlines that are attached to our home buried but that probably won’t happen until this fall, so of course they cut this beautiful tree pretty much in half.  Then they brought in their machine to mulch it to clean up their mess. 
Mark finished the electricity for the dishwasher. So that is now up and running. 😃
He also figured a way to secure my cutting board between the two slabs using magnets. I got some lemon oil to put on the cutting board and it’s ready to use. But knowing me, it’s so pretty that I’ll pull out a cutting board and put on top of it so I don’t put a bunch of cutting lines in it.
I bought this little bench a while back for my mudroom and I finally tackled the project of sanding and re-staining. Of course, when I got it finished, I had to clean out the mudroom. The last construction table has been removed from the house. 🍻
Mark and I got frisky and put up my shelves in the kitchen. Now I need to get some tableware purchased! The kitchen is coming along nicely.
I did find this cute little ironwork, and I decided to hang these above my windows in the kitchen to give a little color on that wall.
We purchased this little cutie yesterday! We are going to use it and build a floating duck house for our pond. This will be a fun thing to follow.
Mark has been busy mowing the last couple days.
