Happy Hump Day!

Mark and I started the day off to the dump. We had to get rid of all of that bathroom material. And of course, on our way through Waverly, we drive-by a consignment store that had a truck in the parking lot with these most beautiful chairs. Now we still had to stop by a thrift store to drop off lighting that we pulled out of the house. Once that was completed, we headed back to the consignment store. Look at what I scored on today. It was like Christmas in March!

Then we decided to go to a cute little town called New Johnsonville. It is a small town just before you reach Kentucky Lake. Which you should look up on a map because it’s huge and we can’t wait to explore it later this spring and early summer. We stopped at Tequila John’s for lunch. As soon as you walk in the door, they state they’re very short on help and please be patient. This poor girl was running her butt off. But we had a very good stuffed cheese poblano hamburger.

Then we came home and got back to work. I told you on the last post I was going to add some color to the house.

Mark continued working on our spare bathroom.

We got to watch some turkeys cross our property.

I ended the day putting my pulls on my cabinets for my island. Don’t look too closely, but I did these all by myself. 😂

Another good day!
