Day 2

We left Pendleton OR around 9:00. I took the morning shift of driving. I missed some pretty pictures of eastern Oregon since I was driving, so you will have to take my word for it. But my drive was through some mountains and curves. Was a little nerve wracking for me but I survived.

Then we came into….

The scenery was not as pretty and of course less trees. We did see some snow but roads were clear. Mark drove the Idaho piece. He had nice straight highway ahead of him.

This is the Snake river
Albion mountain range

We finally landed in Burley Idaho. Stayed at a great Best Western which had a restaurant onsite. Which was wonderful as it was so cold out we did not want to have to walk to dinner.

My plants are holding up pretty good. Don’t laugh at the shamrock plant, it was not looking good when we left. 😂 It is a trooper, it goes through this slump every year. That plant is almost 10 years old.

Until Day 3, thanks for following along.

Drive careful guys! The farther east and south you go the nastier the weather. Thank you for sharing such great pics!!
